The Music Center employs nearly 40 faculty for individual study. Many of the faculty have advanced degrees in music, and all have years of teaching and extensive professional experience.  The faculty includes members of the Spokane Symphony Orchestra including a number of principal players.  Learn more about the Faculty.

The Music Center's faculty provides musical training and performance opportunities to several hundred students annually.

Referrals

  1. Referral forms are our way of connecting students with teachers.  A referral form is generated from your phone call to our office or from the "Contact Us" area of the web site and sent to our faculty coordinators.  Upon receipt of the form they will contact you, the prospective family/student, and coordinate a first lesson time with the appropriate member of the facutly.  Students may request a specific instructor via the referral as well.
  2. We try to respond to each referral within 48 hours of receipt.

Registration

  1. Students must complete a registration form and register separately for each teacher with whom they plan to study.   New students may register to begin lessons at any time during the year.  Registration must be completed prior to the first lesson. Student Registration Forms are available at Holy Names Music Center, or by clicking the above link.   They may be emailed to music@hnmc.org or printed and brought in.  Please note: if you choose email, you will need to come in and sign the form before enrollment is complete.
  2. Following registration, an "Enrollment Confirmation" will be provided to the student's family indicating the selected payment plan and schedule.
  3. Payment is expected with the submission of the Student Registration Form, which is available in the Music Center front office. Registration must be completed at or before the  date of the first lesson.
  4. A late Registration Fee of $15 will be charged for students not registered by the 11th calendar day following the first lesson. Re-registration is required for the Summer session and each fall. See Calendar of Events for dates the instruction terms begins.
