Required Fees: A Registration Fee of $40 per family, per year to be paid with the first payment of the year. An additional Fee of $15 per instrument, for each additional family member to be paid with the first payment of the year. The Registration Fee helps cover some of the expenses connected with piano maintenance, practice and performance with a staff accompanist for recitals and performance classes. An additional Lab Fee will be assessed if the teacher schedules additional performance or practice sessions. Payment Plans for Private Instruction
Tuition Payment Plans: There are 3 payment plans available for Music Center students. Payment Plan selection must be indicated on the Student Registration Form. The payment plan selected remains in effect for the duration of the year and may not be modified until the next open registration period. The Registration Fee and Lab Fee(s) are due with the first payment for any payment plan. Plan #1 - One Payment in Full: A 5% discount is available for private lesson tuition remitted in one payment within 10 days of the start of the instruction year. The discount does not apply to the Registration Fee and Lab Fees or for payments made by credit card. Plan #2 - Monthly Payments: Payments are due every month from September through June by the 5th day of each month. The amount of the payments shall be 1/10 of the total tuition amount for the year for the type of instruction, lesson length selected and any applicable instrument rental fees. The Registration Fee and Lab Fees are due in full with the first payment of the instruction year. Plan #3 - Variable Lesson Arrangement: Selection of this payment plan requires the approval and signature of the student's teacher. This plan should be used under the following circumstances: The instruction period for the current year is a variation from the regular 38 week instruction period, or the student (adult and/or advanced) prefers to pay at the time of each lesson or coaching session, and for this option, lesson charges are payable in advance. This choice must be indicated on the Student Registration Form. The teacher's signature is required for activation of this payment plan. If the Student Registration Form is submitted requesting this payment plan without the teacher's signature, the student will not be "registered" until the teacher's signature has been obtained. Please mark total lessons and dates if available.
Payment: The designated "Person Responsible for Payment" shall select and agree to one of the payment plans available for instruction at HNMC. If no payment plan is chosen, payment in full is due upon registration. Tuition payments are due on or before the designated remittance date and will not be billed separately unless late. There is a $5 charge for late payment billings. Payment Methods
Payment may be made to Holy Names Music Center by check, money order, cash, VISA or MasterCard. Please make payments payable to Holy Names Music Center or HNMC. A service charge of $25 will be charged for all returned checks. VISA and MasterCard holders (including Debit cards) may elect to have their payments automatically charged to their card at the beginning of each month by enrolling in "Auto-Pay". There is no charge for this service. Enrollment forms for Auto-Pay are available in the front hallway outside the Music Center office. Late Payments
When payments are not received on or before the due date designated on the "Enrollment Confirmation", a statement will be sent to the person responsible for payment with a billing fee of $5 added to their account balance for every month a statement is mailed. If after three months, neither the entire payment including billing fees has been paid, nor have suitable payment arrangements been made in writing to settle the payment due, the student's lessons will be discontinued and the request for payment will be sent to our collection agency. >>Back to Registration |
