Jim Sandberg

Jim is currently studying music at Oberlin Conservatory were he is pursuing his passion for composition and performance. While in high school, Jim won the Young Artist Competition for MusicFest Northwest, concluding with a performance with the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. He also composed a clarinet concerto that he performed with the Spokane Youth Orchestra. The 2003 performance with the Spokane Youth Orchestra was the third time that his compositions have been played by this ensemble. Jim is an alumnus of the Holy Names Music Center's Honors Chamber Music Group. He studied piano with Linda Siverts at the Center.
