New Horizons Registration & Tuition
Welcome! We are glad that you are interested in joining a New Horizons Program at Holy Names Music Center. If you have any questions about Registering for a New Horizons group, please contact us. Steps to join a New Horizons Ensemble 1. Fill out an application/registration form. You can get a form at Holy Names Music Center or call us at 326-9516, and we can mail one to you. Be sure to list your preference for the instrument you wish to play or your voice (soprano, alto, etc.), and also note any committees in which you would like to participate. 2. Turn in the application/registration form to Holy Names Music Center along with your Registration Fee of $25. This fee is paid one time only upon joining any New Horizons ensemble. You may also pay the first month's tuition at this time. Tuition is prorated for partial months. 3. Monthly tuition will be due and payable to Holy Names Music Center by the 5th of each month. Holy Names Music Center DOES NOT send out monthly bills. You receive an enrollment confirmation when you register showing your monthly payment and due date. The only time you get a bill, is if you get behind on your payments. There is a $5 fee for this. We do not send out late notices (bills) until the end of the month. 4. Holy Names Music Center offers auto-pay plans for those who would like to have their tuition charged automatically to their Visa or MasterCard (debit cards also) each month. Please get a form from the front office, fill it out and turn it back in if you would like to utilize this service. 5. The New Horizons ensembles will typically have open registration windows in the fall and summer where new members can join, however, we may take new members at any time on a case by case basis. 6. We encourage you to visit one of our recommended local music stores to rent the instrument of your choice. General Information Applicable for all Programs

* = A Registration Fee is only paid one time for entrance into any New Horizons ensemble. If you join other New Horizons ensembles, you do not pay an additional Registration Fee. If you take Private Lessons during the same school year (Sep-Aug) you joined a New Horizons ensemble and paid a Registration Fee, you do not pay a Registration Fee for Private Lessons. You will, however, have a Registration Fee for subsequent years in which you take Private Lessons (payable in September). Note: If you are in any New Horizons ensemble and are now taking private lessons, you must fill out a registration form for private instruction, if you have not already, and turn the form in to the front office. This allows our bookkeeper to keep straight who is taking lessons, the teacher and also who to pay and charge for the lessons. |
