Spring String Workshop
Join us for the 7th Annual Spring String Workshop! Spokane Talent Education Program and Holy Names Music Center have teamed up to present a weekend workshop full of musical experiences.
We are pleased to welcome back Sandra Payton as our lead violin clinician. Mrs. Payton is a much-sought-after guest teacher, serving on the faculty of several Suzuki Institutes. She is a trained Suzuki teacher with over 30 years teaching experience, primarily in Vancouver, B. C., and Bellingham, WA, where she currently resides.
Students will have five classes. In addition to group violin, viola, and cello classes, enrichment classes include fiddling, music and movement, contradance, yoga, drumming and a special session for parents.
Teachers who have at least two students registered may observe classes for free. Other teachers pay a $10 observation fee.
