Student Reflections
Reflection on Pianist, Hank Jones Playing the music of Fat's Waller When I listen to Hank Jones the first thoughts that come to mind are that he is trying to tell a happy simple story, but the way he plays it makes it seem very complex and hard to put to words, almost nostalgic, and as i get further into it I feel like everything is new and exciting like when a young boy goes for a walk in the woods for the very first time, things might not make sense on why it works that way but it is very interesting and pleasant, so you go with the flow and it kind of puts you at ease and anything that occurs prior is of no concern, anymore.
