Volunteer Feature John Maus has made an invaluable contribution to the Music Center by creating consistency and reliability within our computer operations. He can often be found “tweaking” the system as he stops by on his way to the airport when he is headed out of town to help a paying client. Thank you John. You have made a great difference for all of us at the Music Center.
 Jenelle Scott regularly volunteers for random organizational projects in the office. She is responsible for updating content on this website as well as our myspace page. You can sometimes find her 3-year-old daughter "assisting" with filing and computer projects.
Volunteering
Volunteering at the Music Center is a valuable service to the school and community. There are many ways your time and efforts can be utilized to make a difference. Volunteers at the Center take on many roles and responsibilities. We are currently in great need of volunteers to monitor the office, taking phone messages, directing callers to the appropriate faculty and staff for answers to questions, updating our website and organizing our physical and computer based files. The list goes on and depends on each persons level of interest and skill. Other tasks that are very important are: - Music Library Help

- Assisting with Fundraisers
- Hosting or assisting at Student and Faculty Recitals

Ad Hoc Committees support the funtioning of the Board of Trustees. These are action groups which accomplish specific tasks within a limited time frame. Please use the contact us link for more information. Board membership is one of our most valued volunteer options. Becoming a member of the Board of Trustees carries with it significant responsibilities and the joy of being an integral part of this fabulous music community. By first experiencing some of the other volunteer options at the Center you can gain a valuable understanding of the role of the Board of Trustees in the operation of the school. Please pick any task and check with the Music Center regarding the ones with which you would be able and willing to help. Your time and efforts will be sincerely appreciated and you will find they are very much needed.
